Our Projects

At CanaCabins we take our role as stewards of the environment seriously. Working in natural materials such as Cedar, Douglas Fir & Thermo Ayous joinery is a privilege and we are acutely aware of our duty to the environment in terms of minimising all waste, recycling where we can, reusing materials and making sure that we are ethical in all our sustainability practises. All our timber is ethically sourced from FSC approved suppliers.

Rodwell Road

The customer desired a refurbishment of their front garden, including a new Victorian Quarry tiled path with a Tenby floor tile pattern. Walls were rendered and fitted bespoke Victorian railings. The side return lean to was extended to optimise storage space and cladded with Cedar tongue & groove. Side walls were capped with bespoke cedar horizontal screening.

Silvester Road

An enthusiastic young couple desired a cost-effective garden gym to meet their exercise needs. This bespoke outbuilding also features a separate storage room, primarily used to store their bicycles. Cladded with pressure-treated pine tongue and grove cladding with a separate bespoke door for the storage room

Crystal Palace Road

Young couple seeking a garden exercise room. The building's exterior is cladded with Larch and features front-opening patio doors and front-opening casement windows.

Dunstans Road

A young expecting couple hired us to build a garden retreat at the far end of their shared garden, to be used as both an office and a relaxation retreat.

Friern Road

Young family with 3 football enthusiastic sons. We laid a football grade artificial pitch and at the far end a gym room with separate storage facility on right side. This unique structure includes sliding doors with a third fixed framed window to optimise light. This was our first outbuilding to be cladded with Douglas Fir.

Barry Road

Customer is a long-standing client who has engaged us to carry numerous projects. Having had new french doors installed, we were engaged to build a combined softwood deck landing and steps leading to the ground. The deck comprises of a storage compartment accessible with a hinged hatch.

They also turned their hand to replacing rotten joists and fitted new wood floor to dining room, And over 10 years ago they paved our patio which has really stood the test of time. Patrick and Casper did a great job transforming our back garden from a boring square of rotten decking to a beautifully paved area that gives us room to plant around the edges while still leaving us a big enough space for a large table and chairs in the middle. As they'd already done a great job with our garden and bespoke cupboards/shelves for the sitting room, we asked Phillip and Patrick to refurbish our loft shower room. Once again they, and the lovely Kasper, were a delight to work with. They waterproofed and re-tiled the floor, replaced some wall tiles and fitted a new shower enclosure for us. We're very pleased - the shower room looks like new new and no longer leaks. Highly recommend!
